These hire terms and conditions (“ Terms & Conditions ”) will help you understand what you can expect from us and what we need from you to make sure we can complete your order successfully.
Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions: (a) “ owner ” means thebedmakers Limited, hereafter referred to as “us” and “we” or “thebedmakers”; (b) “ customer ” means the individual, hereafter referred to as “you” and “your.
Terms
1. We agree to complete the laundry and dry cleaning services as agreed verbally or in writing between us and you.
2. You agree to pay thebedmakers on demand all charges due hereunder including where relevant any additional charges, delivery charges, VAT or other taxes thereon.
3. The charges are those specified on the owner's current website at the time the agreement is made between us and you.
4. In the event that you are not at home to enable collection at the mutually designated time, we will await further instruction from you regarding a new collection time.
5. In the event that you are not at home to enable delivery at the mutually designated time, we will return all laundry to our premises and we will await further instruction from you regarding a new collection time. We will hold any laundry only for a maximum period of one month.
6. We accept no responsibility for damage of any clothing whilst in transit.
7. We accept no responsibility for any damage or loss whilst in your home or workplace.
8. You shall arrange for collection and return all of our laundry bags previously given to you, should you no longer wish to use our service.
9. thebedmakers may at any time assign any of their rights and/or transfer, sub-contract or delegate any of their obligations under these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are personal to you and are entered into by you for your own benefit and not for the benefit of any third party.
10. thebedmakers may amend these terms and conditions from time to time and post the new version on its website.
11. These terms and conditions are governed by and are to be construed in accordance with English law. You and thebedmakers irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute that may arise out of or in connection with these terms and condition.
